This collectible cognac design is inspired by the monumental style of the USSR, where power and prestige were shown through iconic symbols. The bottle has a square, architectural form with a crystal-like base, evoking the brilliance of a cut gemstone. Brass accents, including the cap and lettering, enhance its authority. The deep red wooden box with a brass star references Soviet iconography. Named “Stalin,” the cognac honors the Soviet leader and historic legacy.

ABOUT PROJECT

The materials and textures were chosen carefully to enhance the overall aesthetic.

Premium-class materials and technologies were used to emphasize exclusivity. The box is crafted from wood, adding weight and a sense of value to the presentation. Its surface combines a matte finish with brass letters set against a deep red background, enhancing its monumental appearance. The bottle itself has a sculptural, faceted base reminiscent of crystal, while the inscriptions are applied through silk-screen printing directly onto the glass. This creates a seamless and authoritative look without overloading the bottle’s appearance. A solid glass stopper with clean edges completes the impression of a collectible artifact.

Motivation

Motivation

The concept was to design a cognac that feels less like packaging and more like a historical object—something that bridges Armenian craftsmanship with the iconic Soviet visual legacy. By combining architectural solidity, Soviet symbolism, and luxurious material choices, the design reflects both strength and exclusivity. The intention was to honor the 80-year anniversary with a piece that feels timeless, authoritative, and worthy of being displayed as much as consumed.
